In my opinion, the general Malaysian would not be comfortable with conversing with strangers on public transportation. I can recall the multitude of people who constantly avoided direct eye contact with me. Everyone was looking at the floor, or the ceiling or outside the window. We certainly are lonely people. I admit that I am not the most sociable person in public places, but I can converse with strangers if I am approached :) So, lets stop being cold and step up to the person next to you and say “HELLO!!”
